Documentation in documentation/ and the built site in this repository are copyright Denys Kuzin unless Apache 2.0 (this repo's root LICENSE) or another explicit file notice applies. If you vendor Ship inside a product monorepo, only the paths that track this package inherit that permissive intent; the monorepo root LICENSE does not automatically cover unrelated product or website code — see Ship vs product monorepo below.

Permitted use#

Internal use within the rights holder’s organisation for engineering, operations, and onboarding.
Internal PDF/print copies for staff and approved contractors.

Restrictions#

Without written permission from the rights holder you may not:

Redistribute full copies publicly outside the organisation;
Use the documentation alone as a commercial product;
Remove or hide copyright or attribution notices.

Short quotations in reviews or reports require attribution (author + source).

Ship vs product monorepo#

Ship in this repository is the permissively licensed framework package (documentation/, artifacts/, cli/, scripts/, and reference materials). A product monorepo that embeds the same files under a nested path (for example tools/ship/) may still ship proprietary application or website code beside it. Follow the license notice on each path you copy, or ask for written permission. The reference deployment describes one public layout; your tree may differ.
